Birthday Party Update

Hey people. Looks like the places we are going to hit on my bday are Aqua Nightclub Envy Nightclub Psycho Suzi's And anywhere else we feel like stopping. Check out Psycho Suzie's website, it's pretty cool. http://www.psychosuzis.com/about.html Let me know if you have suggestions, or know something I don't, because I don't know shit about anything, especially clubs and nightlife. Oh also, Aqua and Envy do have fairly strict dress codes. So no: Hats, Hoods, White Sneakers, White T shirts, Athletic Wear, or gang colors. Basically dress kinda classy to be on the safe side. I'm probably going with my black dress shirt, and a nicer paid of jeans. Check their websites for more details.

Kenji's 21st Bday Party

Hey everyone. So my 21st birthday is coming up soon. It's on the 21st in fact, March 21st, which falls on a Saturday. Oh yeah, its gonna be a good time. So here is the plan as it stands. About 2 or 3 in the afternoon on Saturday people are welcome to show up for gaming, food, drinking etc. Then about 8:00 myself, Kat, Khoi, Coocher, Joe and one other person to be decided will be taking off in a Limo for a night on the town. We'll go around and hit several clubs, and head back home around closing time. Those who did didn't come with (due to age and limo size restrictions) are welcome to stay at my place during, or can take off. Whoever is around afterward can hang out, and do whatever till' we pass out. Next morning some kind of breakfast will be available, probably involving strong black coffee, and asprin. For those who will be in the limo part of the party, I plan on buying rounds, and paying most cover for clubs. If you can bring any money, it is highly encouraged, but whatever. Then, concerning my upcoming move. I will be moving out of my house on Saturday March 29th to my new apartment in plymouth. I have secured a u-haul type truck, and a have someone who is qualified to drive such vehicle on hand. For everyone who possibly can, I humbly ask for your assistance on that date to relocate myself and Kat to our new address. I will be getting up around 9:00 that morning and begin packing the truck. Kat will be at her house and begin doing the same (her family has a pickup truck available). Depending on how much help is available, I plan on having Kat stay at the apartment and guide incoming crap, and I will stay at my house and help direct outgoing crap. The runs there should hopefully be staggered to avoid a mass cloggage of people and possessions. I think one run with my car, Kats Pickup, my parents Van, and the U haul truck should be able to move most everything. For everyone who helps, you will get the following. - Reimbursement of Gas money - All you can eat pizza afterward, and all night gaming and drinking (while we unpack and stuff) - Dibs on any of my cool stuff that won't fit, or I decide I don't really want. This includes probably some swords, and other cool decor stuff. Anyone who wants to is welcome to stay at my new place that night and chill out and play games, get food and hang out. If you have to leave afterward I understand that to. If you plan on being able to help me please let me know 1) That you are available 2) What time you plan on being available (start time, end time) 3) If you will be staying overnight Thats all for now. hit me on my cell or instant messenger if you have questions.

Possible Site Overhaul

Hey Guys. Kenji here. I've been thinking about DS a little recently, and decided that I have learned a shit ton about programming and web site development since I started DS. I am thinking it might be time to overhaul it. It would maintain all of the same tools, but get a new look, better interface, faster load times, new features (RSS Feeds, More Ajax, more customization)etc. I am not sure if I am going to do it yet or not, but I am thinking it might be a good idea. Let me know your input in the comments.

Kenji's Holiday Party and Other News

Hey everyone, First of all, cool news, I got a job. I now work for Food Perspectives International as a Business application administrator, making dramatically more than I did at my last job. So that means I can afford to have a pretty nice holiday get together this year. Here are the facts: Christmas Party --------------- Where: Kenji's House Time: 5:00 - Overnight (stay as long as you want) Date: Saturday December 20th Food: Will be provided, dinner, drinks, open bar (kinda) etc. Gifts: Bring for anyone you want (or nothing, that's totally cool), and some if possible some "Random" small gifts. There will be some sort of crazy gift trading game, so anything you can contribute to that would be cool. Arch Magazine Website

Hey everyone. This is just a quick update. I have taken on another website project for a client, about art music, and other random stuff they want to write about. It is an online magazine, run by Joe Lang, and Billy Graves, along with a friend of theirs Ryan. I will be the temporary content master of that site, and eventually will be overhauling it and rewritting it in Cold Fusion. So please if you have a moment check it out, and give it some hits. MCSA for me!

Whatup suckas? I just got my MCSA, thats what's up. For those who don't know, that means I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. Microsoft itself claims that I am good enough to manage a windows network. I just got done taking the last test and passed. That's all I have to say for now. Read it and weeep, becuase you are not as cool as me. At least as far as computers are concerned, otherwise I still pretty much suck. -Kenji

Barack Obama is probably the Anti-Christ

Hey everyone, This is not site related news, but something I deem important enough to put on my home page. Anyone who follows politics even a little, can see that Barack Obama is more than likely going to be the next president. I believe that this will hail the beginning of the end of the world. Here is why: The anti-Christ is supposedly a smooth talking man of peace. - Have you seen this guy? He's charming as hell, and can convert almost everyone to his cause. The anti-Christ is said to be a man from the east - Uhh, yeah. He's from the east alright. Many prophecies place special value on the year 2012 - That will be the 4th year of his reign which works out well, because it was prophesied that the anti-Christ would rule in peace for roughly 3 years, and then show his true self in the 4th. Timing seems to work out pretty slick. Tensions rising in the middle-east - During end times, the great mosque will be destroyed, and something else gets build there. I'm fuzzy on the details, but really, with the way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if everything blew up tomorrow, not just that mosque. I'm not a researcher of historian, but I know a little about what the bible say about the end times, and what I'm seeing now. Things are lining up pretty close, and to be honest I'm freaked out. I'm not saying lock yourself in a cave and give up hope. By the same token, don't worship this guy when he demands it, as I'm fairly sure he will. Hope I'm wrong.

First Useable AJAX app

Hey people, I said I'd keep you posted on my new projects, well here is some of the first useable AJAX code. http://www.digitalswordsmen.com/ajax_news_archive.cfm Just start typing in the name of a news article, and all valid hits come back, and you can read them from there. Kinda cool. I am only starting to tap into the power of AJAX, so I mean, even though this is rather basic, so are my skills at this moment. Also, there is a new level up interface that is going to leverage the power of AJAX. You can see it here http://www.digitalswordsmen.com/ajaxscripts/leveltest.cfm You must be logged in to view that page, or you'll get a nasty error. I am fooling around with making a better UI and such, so that's all in the works. Anyway, thats all for now. Oh wait, there is one other page you can look at http://www.digitalswordsmen.com/ajaxscripts/ajaxtest.cfm It's a new login interface, the login form is built dynamically as you type, so as you enter valid information, the next box pops up.
